Build Log
Published information is not the same as verified information
Adding an official URL and a description creates a public source. Pressing a publish button does not independently verify the information. These are two separate things when explaining ORFA.
A statement readers can check
ORFA aims to provide a public original that readers can revisit. Describe what a service does, what material a project publishes, or the conditions under which a feature is available. Readers should check the supporting official material and its applicable conditions as well as the description.
“It can import CSV files in a specified format” is easier to check than “It is the best tool.” The first statement identifies a feature and its conditions. This is a hypothetical writing example, not a claim about a customer’s product or results.
Finding the guidance
We have grouped Home, Notes, and Build Log under Explore and placed FAQ to the right of OpenPedia. FAQ and Build Log are also available in English. These changes aim to make the product explanation and usage conditions easier to find. We have not concluded that they increase registrations.
Publication, access, and citation
“Published” means that a public page has been created. It does not mean ORFA has verified the publisher’s identity and every statement. An AI access record does not establish that the information was cited in an answer or used for training. Publication, access, and citation need to be described as separate events.
When information changes
There is currently no interface for directly editing a Source. To correct it, delete the existing Source and register the updated URL and description again. The new Source receives a different URL. Deletion does not remove copies or search caches stored by external services.
What we need to learn next
Can visitors understand what to register, who has checked the information, and how to correct it later? These remain questions to investigate through actual use, rather than results to claim in advance.
Start by choosing one fact that can be checked and the evidence supporting it. Creating a public original does not guarantee visibility, ranking, citation, or training use by any particular AI system.
